During the first staff meeting, I will introduce myself and welcome everyone to the clinic. I will review the agenda for the meeting and set the tone for a collaborative, open-door policy with a clear expectation of accountability. For the first (90 days) three months, my goals will be four-fold- First, I will work towards identifying opportunities to streamline the processes, seek feedback from the team to streamline the work. Secondly, I will find out what works best in the clinic and expand on the strengths, and on the other hand, identify the areas that require improvement and work towards solving them. Thirdly, Effective communication is key to a successful office, and the implementation of communication procedures that cater to everyone, saving time and resources, will be my another goal. Lastly, I will focus on nurturing a culture that fosters and encourages positivity, teamwork, and accountability.
These goals will be achieved by having frequent staff meetings with open communication, monitor and track feedback from the team regularly, and working together to ensure that the office runs as efficiently as possible, resulting in the best patient care experience.
